Individual & Couples Therapy
I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with adults with a range of concerns, such as: trauma, relationship concerns, mood-related symptoms, race-related stressors, and overall phase of life concerns. With the understanding that the therapy process is not “one size fits all,” my clients and I spend significant time understanding their unique needs and particular situation.
In this way, I approach the therapeutic process through a “person-centered” and multicultural lens, where change must be understood within the context of a person’s life experiences and intersectional aspects of their identity.
Workshops & Seminars
I have presented on a host of issues drawing from my experiences and training including trauma research, racial equity, resilience, womanist & feminist theory, diversity, and multiculturalism.
I have also consulted with a number of nonprofit organizations to develop and facilitate trainings, conferences and symposiums. Let’s discuss how I can partner with you to make your event a success.
